Oliver Perez kicks a laundry bin and breaks a toe. Ian Snell burns himself making a Caesar salad?
Courtesy of Jenifer Langosch and Pirates.com:
Only days after feeling on top of the world after pitching his first Major League complete game, Ian Snell walked around the clubhouse on Sunday disgusted that he would have to miss his scheduled start on Tuesday due to a blister on his right index finger.
"It's a burn blister," Snell finally said after trying to ignore questions about his hand.
Snell burned his finger while grilling chicken for a salad he was preparing for himself. And as if the blister wasn't bothersome enough, Snell was also mad that the costly chicken Caesar salad wasn't even worth the hassle.
The Pirates will be able to have Tom Gorzelanny throw Tuesday on regular rest thanks...
