Pittsburgh Pirates Draft History: 1985


BOLD = Pirates didn’t sign player.

The Pirates received their second round pick from the Orioles as compensation for signing free agent Lee Lacy.

The Pirates gave up the 34th pick in the 2nd round to the Phillies as compensation for signing free agent Sixto Lezcano. The pick was used to draft Bruce Ruffin.
