Pittsburgh Pirates Draft History: 1990

BOLD = Pirates didn’t sign player.

The Pirates received pick number 27 in the first round, and pick number 83 in the third round from the Dodgers as compensation for losing Jim Gott.

The Pirates gave up the 45th pick in the 2nd round to the Yankees for signing Walt Terrell. The pick was used on Robert Eenhoorn.

The Pirates gave up the 78th pick in the 3rd round to the Twins for signing Wally Backman. The pick was used on Jamie Ogden.
