Maybe your research led you to believe this number would now be closer to $2 million, but I think you should stick with your intial thoughts on that number. I read that Cain was offered $1 million to be the Bucs 4th rounds pick and turned them down. If the Pirates do not get somewhere close to 1.5 I think you will see Cain wearing Burnt Orange and White next year rather than Black and Yellow. With that all being said I do not think ZVR will sign for $500k, so the total to get them both signed would be much closer to $3 million rather than $2million.

Cain is an elite player, and most likely the best player drafted by the Bucs this year. I would hope they do not let several hundred thousand stand in the way of getting him signed. Shame on NH if they do.
