The Result: Altoona split a double header with Bowie.
-Gorkys Hernandez combined to go 3 for 7, getting his seventh steal of the season in game two.
-Pedro Alvarez combined to go 1 for 5 with two walks.
Other Game Notes: Shelby Ford went 1 for 7. Miles Durham went 1 for 3 in game two with a homer. Michael Dubee pitched a shutout inning in game one.

The Result: Lynchburg split a double header with Winston-Salem.
-Chase d’Arnaud combined to go 3 for 6 with two walks and two steals.
-Rudy Owens pitched four innings in game one, allowing two runs on five hits, with no walks and two strikeouts. I’ll have video up later.
Other Game Notes: Jordy Mercer went 1 for 2 in each game, hitting a homer in the second game. Matt Hague went 2 for 3 in each game. Matt McSwain pitched seven shutout innings in the second game, allowing three hits, no walks, and six strikeouts. I’ll also have video of McSwain at a later date.

-Tony Sanchez went 1 for 3 with his sixth homer of the season.
-Starling Marte went 1 for 4 with a double.
-Aaron Pribanic pitched six innings, allowing one run on three hits, with two walks and four strikeouts.
Other Game Notes: Calvin Anderson went 1 for 3 with a homer. Casey Erickson pitched a perfect inning with two strikeouts for the save.
