-Brad Lincoln pitched 7.1 innings yesterday for Team USA, allowing one run on six hits, with no walks and five strikeouts, getting the win. Pedro Alvarez went 1 for 3 in the same game.
-Dustin Molleken pitched 0.2 shutout innings for Canada today, allowing one hit, the first base runner he’s allowed over 3.2 innings and three appearances in the World Cup.
-Tom Boleska pitched two shutout innings in Great Britain’s loss, allowing two hits, no walks, and striking out three. Boleska has some impressive strikeout numbers so far, with 11 in 7.2 innings of work.
-R.J. Rodriguez picked up his second save for Puerto Rico, pitching 1.1 shutout innings, allowing one hit, one walk, and striking out two.
