A few minor league notes for today while we wait for the late west coast game…
-Kevin Hart has been placed on the disabled list in Indianapolis with what the organization believes to be right biceps tendonitis. No word on how long Hart will be out with the injury.
-To help Indianapolis out with their pitching shortage, Michael Dubee has been called up from AA. Dubee has been excellent in Altoona this year, with an 0.93 ERA in 9.2 innings of work with a 6:2 K/BB ratio. Dubee had a 2.91 ERA in 34 innings of work last year with Altoona, with a 28:10 K/BB ratio. Scott McCauley says that Dubee will be with the team for a few days, after which he will probably be sent back to Altoona.
-McCauley also says that Brandon Jones is back with Indianapolis. Jones just cleared waivers after being designated for assignment earlier in the week by the Pirates.
