INDIANAPOLIS INDIANS (AAA)
The Indianapolis Indians lost 3-1 to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Charlie Morton made the start in a rehab appearance, going six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, with a walk and six strikeouts.
Jeremy Powell pitched a perfect inning with a strikeout, followed by a perfect inning from
Jean Machi.
Jeff Clement went 2-for-4 with two doubles, and two strikeouts. Recently promoted Jim Negrych went 1-for-4 with a double and the only RBI of the game. Brandon Jones went 1-for-3. Pedro Alvarez went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
Altoona beat New Britain 6-5.
Justin Wilson pitched six innings, allowing four runs on ten hits, with no walks and two strikeouts.
Michael Dubee pitched 1.2 shutout innings, allowing one hit and striking out one.
Daniel Moskos pitched 1.1 innings, allowing a run on two hits and a walk, but picking up the win.
Jordy Mercer went 2-for-3 with two runs and a double. Kris Watts went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Anthony Norman went 2-for-3 with a run. Gorkys Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Chase d’Arnaud went 1-for-4. Miles Durham went 1-for-2 with a run, a walk, and an RBI.
West Virginia was off today.

The VSL Pirates had a double header with the VSL Cardinals postponed.
DSL PIRATES (RK)
The DSL Pirates lost to the DSL Yankees 6-1. Arquimedes Lorenzo pitched four innings, allowing four runs on four hits with four walks and two strikeouts. Angel Sanchez pitched two innings, allowing two runs, one earned, on one hit, with four walks and two strikeouts. Aneudy Merejo pitched two shutout innings, allowing one hit and striking out two.
Luis Urena went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Samuel Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Leandro Mejia went 2-for-4. Alen Hanson went 0-for-3 with a walk.
