He had 1 option to start the year, was DFA’d off the roster which I don’t think counts as an option and then added to the major league roster (whcih again I didn’t think used an option) and to my recollection remained at the major league level the rest of the year.

You know the rules a whole lot better than me so why did he lose an option?
