Arizona Fall League Recap: 10/25

Tony Sanchez started at catcher today, and Aaron Pribanic pitched in relief, as the Mesa Solar Sox lost 8-6:

-Tony Sanchez (.296) started at catcher, batting sixth.  He went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts, allowed two stolen bases in two attempts, and allowed a passed ball.

-Aaron Pribanic (0.00) pitched a shutout inning, allowing just one walk.  Pribanic threw eight pitches, with three strikes.  After walking the leadoff batter, he got a first pitch ground ball for a double play, followed by a 1-0 ground ball to get out of the inning.  Pribanic now has pitched 6.1 shutout innings in the AFL this season.

Mesa plays Peo Saguaros on Monday at 12:35 PM MST/3:35 PM EST.
