All four Pirates hitting prospects played tonight, as the Mesa Solar Sox lost 12-6:
-Josh Harrison (.333) batted leadoff as the designated hitter. He went 0-for-4 with a walk.
-Jordy Mercer (.279) started at shortstop, batting third. Mercer went 0-for-4 with a walk and an RBI.
-Andrew Lambo (.288) started in right field, batting fourth. Lambo went 1-for-5 with a double, a run, an RBI, and three strikeouts.
-Tony Sanchez (.265) started at catcher, batting seventh. Sanchez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run (2).
There is no AFL action tomorrow. Mesa plays Peo Saguaros Monday at 12:35 PM MST/3:35 PM EST.
