Keith Law on Lambo

This is a few days old, but Keith Law had a few interesting tweets about Pirates outfield prospect Andrew Lambo. Lambo is currently playing in the Arizona Fall League.

Yes, I’ve caught his act. It’s getting old. RT @kirsh84: @keithlaw Keith, have you caught any of Pirates OF Andrew Lambo in the AFL?Sat Oct 23 22:06:55 via Seesmic for Android

On field behavior. RT @EdmundRollett: @keithlaw curious for further comment on lambo and in what sense is his act getting old… ThxSun Oct 24 04:58:32 via Seesmic for Android

It is hard to know what to make of these comments, as they are obviously very vague. Unless we get additional information about the “on-field behavior” that Law is referencing, I don’t think this is necessarily a cause for concern. But it is certainly something to keep an eye on as we move forward.

Update (10/26/2010, 12:40 PM): Law expanded on his comments in a post on his ESPN blog this morning. Unfortunately, it is behind a pay wall, so I can’t view the specifics. My understanding is that the issue was an argument Lambo had with an umpire. Apparently, he also threw his bat into the stands during a swing and held up the game until it was returned to him. I don’t think I am all that concerned with any of that.
