Arizona Fall League Recap: 11/9

Andrew Lambo connected with a walk off grand slam for his fourth homer of the AFL season, giving the Mesa Solar Sox a 7-5 victory:

-Andrew Lambo (.306) started in right field, batting seventh.  He went 1-for-3 with the grand slam (4) and a walk.  He was also caught stealing in his only attempt.

-Josh Harrison (.338) started at second base, batting second.  Harrison went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run, plus a fielding error.

-Jordy Mercer (.276) started at shortstop, batting sixth.  Mercer went 2-for-4 with a run.  He reached on a bunt single in the ninth to load to bases for Lambo with no outs.

-Justin Wilson (4.15) got the start, and had some control issues.  Wilson pitched three innings, allowing two runs on two hits, with four walks and three strikeouts.  He threw 65 pitches, with only 35 strikes.

-Aaron Pribanic (0.59) pitched three more shutout innings, allowing four hits, one walk, and striking out one.  He threw 42 pitches, with 29 strikes.  Pribanic has only allowed one earned run in 15 innings so far in the AFL season.

Mesa plays Phoenix tomorrow at 6:35 PM MST/8:35 PM EST.
