Wins For Ascanio And Ledezma, Loss For Nieve

PUERTO RICAN LEAGUE
Gigantes de Carolina  5,  Senadores de San Juan  1  —  
Los Senadores were held to just 4 hits, and scored their lone run without a hit in the 4th inning.  Los Gigantes scored single runs in the 1st and 3rd innings, then posted 3 runs in the 5th, on a triple, two doubles, and a single.  Benji Gonzalez entered the game in the 8th inning to play shortstop, but did not get a fielding opportunity nor a plate appearance.  

Leones de Ponce  4,  Criollos de Caguas  1  —  Los Criollos were also held to 4 hits and one run, and the run was a solo homer in the 4th inning.  SS Luis Figueroa walked in the 1st inning and singled in the 3rd, but was left on base both times.  3B Ramon Vazquez was hitless in 4 trips to the plate.   

MEXICAN PACIFIC LEAGUE
Venados de Mazatlan  15,  Caneros de Los Mochis 3  —  
Los Venados exploded for 8 runs in the 5th inning, which included a hit batter, a wild pitch, three singles, two walks (one forced in a run), a 3-run double, and a 2-run homer.  RF Rogelios Noris struck out in the 3rd inning, and was lifted for a pinch-hitter during the big 5th inning (and the pinch-hitter popped out).  Mazatlan continued to score, adding 2 runs in the 7th, 4 in the 8th (back-to-back homers), and one more in the 9th.
