Milledge Drives In The Winning Run For Aragua

VENEZUELAN LEAGUETigres de Aragua  3,  Leones de Caracas  2  --  DH Lastings Milledge drove in the winning run for Los Tigres in the 5th inning with his triple into right field.  Milledge also singled in the 1st inning, when a throwing error, a double, and a pair of singles gave Los Tigres 2 runs.  Los Leones used a walk, a double, and a single in the bottom of the 3rd to tie the game.  1B Hector Gimenez walked twice for Los Tigres, and CF Jorge Cortes went 0-for-4.  C Carlos Maldonado was 0-for-3 at the plate for Los Leones.  LF Mike Ryan singled and walked, but did not come around to score.  Jose Ascanio pitched the final inning for Los Leones, retiring the side in order.  AUSTRALIAN LEAGUEPerth Heat 4,  Sydney Blue Sox  3  --  Jarryd Sullivan pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 8th for the Blue Sox, including a strikeout, in their loss to the Heat.  Perth scored a run in the 2nd inning, then added 3 more in ...

Analysis
