Milledge, Gimenez, and Paulino Get A Few Hits

VENEZUELAN LEAGUEAguilas de Zulia  8,  Tigres de Aragua  2  --  Los Aguilas scored 7 runs over the first 4 innings, and Los Tigres could not catch up.  Aragua scored their 2 runs in the 5th.  1B Hector Gimenez led off the inning by reaching second base on a throwing error.  LF Lastings Milledge moved him to third base with a ground out to short, then a triple pushed Gimenez across the plate.  A sacrifice fly brought in Los Tigres' second run.  Gimenez and Milledge both singled in the 9th inning with two outs, but a ground out to the pitcher ended the game.  CF Jorge Cortes did not have a hit for Los Tigres.  Caribes de Anzoategui  6,  Bravos de Margarita  2  --  Los Caribes scored 3 runs in their big 3rd inning, which began with back-to-back solo homer, followed by a double, a single, and a sacrifice fly.  Los Bravos scored one run in the 2nd on two singles and a sacrifice fly by C JR House.  ...

Analysis
