RBIs For Milledge and Gimenez; Two Homers For Latimore

MEXICAN PACIFIC LEAGUE
Yaquis de Obregon  3,   Algodoneros de Guasave  0 —  
After 6 scoreless innings, Los Yaquis finally put some runs on the board.  With two outs in the top of the 7th, a hit batter and two singles gave Obregon one run.  A 2-run homer gave them some insurance in the 9th inning.  Guasave posted just 6 hits, scattered throughout the game.  They had a runner get as far as third base in only one inning (the 5th), and had two runners on base in only one inning (the 8th)  1B Yurendell de Caster had Guasave’s first hit, which came in the 2nd inning.  Obregon leads this series 3 games to 2.

AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE
Adelaide Bite  14,  Melbourne Aces  2  —  
The Bite exploded for 19 hits, and 10 runs over the last 4 innings of the game.  DH Quincy Latimore got in on the fun with two home runs and a double, accounting for 6 RBI.  The Bite got started with 4 runs in the 3rd inning, which began with two singles, two doubles (one by Latimore for 2 RBI), and another single.  Latimore scored on a double play.  The Aces scored on a 2-run homer in the top of the 5th, then Latimore opened the bottom of the inning with a solo home run.  The Bite added 5 runs in the 6th.  That inning began with 6 batters reaching base safely:  a hit batter, a double, two singles, a 3-run homer by Latimore, and a double.  Latimore walked in the 7th inning during a 2-run rally.  Back-to-back solo homers gave the Bite 2 more runs in the 8th inning.  
In the other playoff series, the Perth Heat beat the Sydney Blue Sox, 4-2.
