That’s based off of my discussions.

I never say things like that unless I’ve heard it from someone in the organization. If it’s a guess, I always preface it with “I would think”, “My guess”, I’d assume”, etc. And most of the time, those comments are based off something I’ve heard, just not from a high up official.

also, just out of curiosity: “The Pirates’ goal for Baker this year is to have him finish the season in Altoona”- is this your guess, or based on discussions with FO staff? I could see someone like Curry, if he keeps it up (Baker, too, but I think I like Curry a bit more), go through both Bradenton and Altoona, and be in Indy by end of April 2012.

Tim, typo, I suppose, but Matt Hague was a 9th rd pick, not 3rd round, in 2008
