The Pittsburgh Pirates have released Chris Leroux, according to an Altoona press release. Leroux's release clears space on the Altoona roster for the return of Bryan Morris, who was previously on the disabled list. Since Leroux was also on the 40-man roster, that clears a spot. The 40-man is currently at 38 players.
UPDATE 2:51 PM: First press release was a mistake. Altoona sent a follow up saying Leroux was promoted to Indianapolis to make room for Morris. The 40-man still remains at 39 players....
