Gotta disagree with that statement. Even if Morris turns into Joel Hanrahan, that’s a lot different than if he were to turn into even Paul Maholm.

The expectation with a trade like the Bay trade should be to get at least one 2-3 WAR long term player from the deal. Doesn’t look like that’s going to happen now. Of course, the Nady trade has paid double dividends, so that does make up for it.
