I don’t have good feeling for Harrison’s glove at third, or Jones’s at first (he should have cleanly scooped that potential DP toss from Walker last game).

While D’Arnaud makes his audition, Harrison continues to play everyday. Were Harrison here, is he suited to sit on the bench? I like the fact he will play daily over the next two weeks.

They won’t be wasting an option. You only use an option if you’re on optional assignment for 20+ days. If Harrison comes back on July 3rd, and remains in the majors the rest of the season, he wouldn’t lose an option year.

As my preferred lineup, I would move Wood in 3b (as he has quietly been swing a much better bat this month) and keep Chase at SS, his natural position.

I think the thing they like most about Ciriaco is they don’t care if he wastes away at the end of the bench.

Personally, I am not that bothered about sending Harrison down. Like most, I appreciate his undefinable “scrappiness.”

However, besides the empty BA, he played some dreadful 3b defense against the O’s. He had no range to his right and olayed two grounders to his left.

The team seems to like Ciriaco for some reason. Maybe they think they can fix his bat or something. He is good on defense. Is he out of options or something? Maybe that is why they are keeping him around because they know they can get Harrison down and will not worry about losing Ciriaco…

I don’t understand keeping Ciriaco in majors, why waste one of Harrison’s options when you know Ciriaco is getting released anyways.
Move Diaz down or DFA him so we can keep Harrison, Pressly and D’Arnaud in the show.

Biertempel also mentioned that a reliever could go down for Lincoln. I think Moskos has to be on the 1st cut list in that case.
