Game Notes: Stevenson made his first start of the year, after putting up a 6.15 ERA in 33.2 innings as a reliever.  However, Stevenson had been on a hot streak lately, with two earned runs in 8.1 innings in his last four outings heading in to tonight’s start.  Victor Black hasn’t allowed a run in 13 innings, with a 9:4 K/BB ratio.


Payne allowed an unearned run in 4.1 innings.
