Indianapolis was suspended in the 6th inning, tied 2-2 with Syracuse.  The game will resume tomorrow at 1:05 PM.

ALTOONA CURVE (AA)

Mercer had one of Altoona's three hits tonight.

Top Hitter: Jordy Mercer (1-for-2, BB)

Notes: Michael Colla (4-2, 2.65) had his worst outing as a starter this season, allowing four runs on seven hits in six innings, with a walk and six strikeouts.  Colla was hurt by home runs, allowing three solo shots.  Matt McSwain (5.30) pitched two shutout innings, allowing two hits.  Noah Krol (3.63) pitched a shutout inning, allowing a walk and a hit.

Jordy Mercer (.256) and Brad Chalk (.216) each went 1-for-2 with a walk.  Brock Holt (.299) went 1-for-4, with the only other Altoona hit.

BRADENTON MARAUDERS (A+)

Lorin allowed one earned run in five innings.

Notes: Brett Lorin (2-3, 3.10) allowed two runs, one earned, on three hits in five innings, with a walk and five strikeouts.  Eliecer Navarro (7.50) was hit hard for six runs, five earned, on six hits in 1.2 innings.  Zach Foster (0.00) pitched 2.1 shutout innings, allowing one hit, three walks, and striking out three.

Evan Chambers (.196) went 1-for-3 with a double.  Ramon Cabrera (.330) went 1-for-4 with the only other hit for Bradenton.

WEST VIRGINIA POWER (A)

Cumpton had a rough start tonight, allowing six runs in 4.2 innings.

Notes: Brandon Cumpton (6-4, 5.11) went on an impressive streak this year, allowing one or fewer earned runs in his last six starts heading in to tonight’s outing.  Tonight, he struggled, allowing six runs on six hits in 4.2 innings, with a walk and two strikeouts.  Kevin Decker (2.32) allowed a run on three hits in 1.1 innings.  Trent Stevenson (7.18) and Zac Fuesser (2.50) each pitched shutout innings.

Justin Howard (.268) went 1-for-4 with a double.  Rogelios Noris (.229) went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run.  Drew Maggi (.224) went 1-for-4 with an RBI.  He also committed his 11th error of the season.
