In the 2011 Pirates Prospects Annual, I released my 2011 projections for players on the Pirates 40-man roster. I also ran projections for non-roster minor league players who received an invite to spring training. Thus, preseason projections were available for each of the players expected to join the major league team over the next week; Chase d’Arnaud, Alex Presley and Brad Lincoln. Those projections are now almost half a season out of date, so I figured I should run updated projections for each of those players. I have also made a few minor tweaks to my methodology, although that has not really impacted the numbers too significantly.
Here are the updated numbers. I included the preseason projections as well.
