The Pittsburgh Pirates have called up starting pitcher Brad Lincoln for game two of tonight's double header, and to make room on the 25-man roster they have optioned right hander Tim Wood to AAA Indianapolis. The move was expected, as the Pirates needed a spot starter for game two of tonight's double header.
Lincoln has a 4.14 ERA in 82.2 innings this year at the AAA level. He got off to a bad start, with a 7.17 ERA in his first four games this year, but has since put up a 3.08 ERA in 61.1 innings, along with a 53:13 K/BB ratio....
