Jose Tabata and Steve Pearce Continue Rehab With Bradenton

Tabata starts his rehab tonight in Bradenton.

The Bradenton Marauders will have injured Pittsburgh Pirates players Steve Pearce and Jose Tabata in the lineup tonight.  Pearce had previously been rehabbing with the GCL Pirates in Bradenton.  Tabata begins his rehab tonight.  Tabata is eligible to come off the disabled list at any time now, and he could be a candidate to return this weekend, assuming his rehab goes well.  I wouldn’t assume the same time table for Pearce, since he has missed more time, although he has to be back in the majors by the end of July.
