Moskos has been optioned to AAA.
The Pittsburgh Pirates have optioned left handed reliever Daniel Moskos to AAA Indianapolis. The move was made with Joe Beimel expected to come off the disabled list tomorrow. Beimel had recently pitched on back to back nights in Altoona, a sign that his rehab was nearing it’s end.
In other injury news, Ross Ohlendorf will start a rehab assignment with the Bradenton Marauders tonight. Steve Pearce, who had been rehabbing in Bradenton, has had his assignment transferred to AAA.

what a shame… i agree with the move, but in hindsight, what a wasted draft pick.

gotta agree……the only good thing about that pick was that it was the final nail in Littlefield’s GM career.

Pedro and Pearce will be inseperable at Indy…NOT.
Am I the only one who is not excited that Ohlie will get a call soon to come to Pitt?

Depends what they do with him. I hope they put him in the old Karstens long relief role. I like what I have seen from Leroux, but I can live with him going back down.

What a different position the Pirates are in this year than the past. We have talented players in AAA that are there because we have more talented guys in the majors… whew!
Neal, I won’t doubt you again
ok, thats not true.
