8/10 Transactions: Aaron Thompson, Dan Gamache

Two minor league transactions today:

-Aaron Thompson has been promoted from Altoona to Indianapolis.  The left hander, who was a first round pick in 2006 by the Florida Marlins, was claimed off of waivers over the off-season by the Washington Nationals.  In 83.2 innings this year in Altoona he put up a 5.16 ERA, along with a 5.5 K/9 and a 2.2 BB/9 ratio.

-Dan Gamache, the 2011 6th round pick, has been promoted from the GCL to State College.  Gamache signed right away, but was recovering from an injury, which delayed his debut.  In 20 at-bats in the GCL he hit for a .350/.440/.350 line.
