The Pittsburgh Pirates have released outfielder Justin Bencsko. Bencsko was a 20th round pick last year, taken as a college senior. The outfielder was a one tool talent, with speed being that tool. He was one of the fastest players in the system, but struggled at the plate this year in State College and West Virginia.
