Game Notes: Gamache broke the game open in the third with a grand slam, with State College leading 11-1 after three innings.  Kingham has allowed one or fewer earned runs in each of his last ten outings.  He’s also issued one or fewer walks in each of his last nine starts.  Robbie Kilcrease left the bases loaded after Stetson Allie walked three batters.  Wes Freeman is hitting for a .376/.426/.570 line in the month of August.

Game Notes: The GCL Pirates wrapped up their season with a win over the GCL Yankees.  Jonathan Schwind hit his fourth homer of the year.  Alen Hanson stole his 24th base, while Gregory Polanco walked three times and stole his 18th base of the year.  Cesar Lopez, who signed for $600 K out of Cuba prior to the year, finished his season with a 5.79 ERA in 22.1 innings, along with a 16:6 K/BB ratio.  Over half of his earned runs came in this start.
