The Pittsburgh Pirates have promoted shortstop Drew Maggi from the West Virginia Power to the Bradenton Marauders. The move comes at the end of the season, right when Bradenton will be moving to the Florida State League playoffs. Maggi is hitting for a .267/.361/.357 line this year, with 32 stolen bases. He has a .287/.378/.389 line in the second half of the South Atlantic League season this year.
The Pirates have also promoted Walker Gourley from State College to West Virginia, and have added Jose Osuna to the active roster in State College.
