Pirates Recall Jaramillo, Call Up Brian Burres

The Pittsburgh Pirates have recalled catcher Jason Jaramillo, and have purchased the contract of left handed pitcher Brian Burres, according to a team press release.  Burres is expected to start for the Pirates on Friday against the Chicago Cubs.  There was an open spot on the 40-man roster, and Burres will fill that spot.

    • He’s not even good at AAA. If they’re going to bring up a non-prospect, Olson should have been the priority. 19 and counting….
