The Mesa Solar Sox won 10-3 against Peoria today, although the two Pirates prospects that played didn’t factor in to the victory. Robbie Grossman returned to action after a day off, and went 1-for-4 with a double and two walks. Grossman now has a .370 average and a 1.111 OPS, with a 13:16 K/BB ratio. Jarek Cunningham started at second base and went 0-for-4 with a walk and two strikeouts. Cunningham now has a .250 average on the season, with a .792 OPS and a 12:6 K/BB ratio in 60 at-bats.
Mesa plays tomorrow at 3:35 PM EST against Peoria.
