Gerrit Cole Makes His AFL Debut Tomorrow

Jonathan Mayo reports that Gerrit Cole will make his Arizona Fall League debut Friday for the Mesa Solar Sox.  The Pittsburgh Pirates held Cole back in the instructional leagues to make a few more starts before sending him to the AFL.  He arrived in Arizona earlier this week, and is listed as the probable starter for tomorrow’s game.

      I will be at the game tomorrow. I’ll be texting the play by play to someone who will not ba able to make it. I don’t twitt but I’m considering twitting the play by play so I can reach more interested fans. I guess I just need to figure out how to set it up.
