Los Tiburones had a 4-0 lead going in to the bottom of the 5th, after a solo homer in the 3rd and 3 more runs on 5 singles in the 4th. Los Caribes scratched out one run in the 5th, on a single, a stolen base, and a wild pitch. They rallied again in the 6th, beginning with a lead-off double by CF Gorkys Hernandez. Hernandez tagged up and advanced to third on a fly out, then scored on an RBI single. A walk and a fielding error brought in a second run in that inning, but that was as far as Los Caribes could get.
