The Yankees just released Andrew Brackman who just made it to the majors for a September call-up. It appears he has some up-side .Any comments?

He can’t hit righties to save his life, but has an .849 career OPS against lefties. That said, he’s played the equivalent of one full season, so the sample size is too small for comfort. So he profiles like a platoon option, but hasn’t proven he can do it consistently at this level. I’d prefer not to see him on the ML roster.

Not a bad AAAA filler. If he his part of a platoon with Jones at first we are in trouble.
