I wouldn’t go near a guy with a bad wrist with a ten foot pole. DeRosa hasn’t hit with any authority whatsoever since he injured that wrist 2 years back. No way Pirates, please don’t waste the money on him.

He’d be a better fallback than what we currently possess, by far! That’s if he’s healthy and able to produce as he has in the past.

DeRosa is nothing more than a bench player.. ill take him in a heart beat to come off the bench with his versatility

I have liked DeRosa since he was a key guy with the Cubs a few years back. Now, he may be finished but I hope not. His versatility and smart, solid play has never hurt any team he’s been with. Get well, Mark!
