I sort of like the Nate deal. If he can re-gain his confidence it could be a hell of a deal for 1.75mm and it looks like Jones may be part of our platoon 1b. 

Barajas at 4mm is better than 2 injury risks at 13mm.

D+ move for his 4.5 mil paid. 

Mclouth signing F – 1.75 mil for what a .220 , give garrett jones his super two money around 2.2 mil and be done with it.

Jose Morales – B – minor league signing, might have a good shot to back up Barajas for a next to nothing price .289/.365 obp, 34% throwing out base runners in his career.

Navarro trade B – Red Sox fans hated so much potential never lived up with them , got the boot didnt do a lot with KC , Pirates take a shot on him (pounders a good kid nice offspeed stuff)

Rod Barajas D- = Does have power nothing else, defensive skill has declined 4 mil??? , 2 mil too much

Clint Barmes C = Little High priced about 1.5 mil too much he was the best fa ss prospect (turrible fa period for ss) Jack Wilson with less range and more leadership a upgrade bat wise over Cedeno in power and little bit of avg (expect .270 in the 2 hole which is perfect for him out of barmes maybe .255 to .260 if he’s batting 7th)
