Had he not injured his knee he may have become a memorable Bucco. Jackie Hernandez saved the Pirates in the ’71 WS at ss but can you imagine if a healthy veteran Alley had been in that lineup?

Altho I wasn’t alive to see Traynor play, I still remember his A-M-E-R-I-C-A-N commercials on ‘Studio Wrestling’.
