When someone is saying BEST, it has to take into account many more factors than WAR or UZR.
IMO, I would take the 60 teams outfield, Skinner was a fine outfielder, Virdon was one of the best defensive center fielders in the game and Clemente was one of the best all around right fielders in the game at that time. Someone else can have the stats I would take these 3.
Stats won’t tell anyone that Tabata is a much better left fielder than he is a right fielder, the Bucs will find that out this year.
I also think if Marte comes up in mid season 2012 and he is part of the 2013 outfield that the Pirates might have the best all around outfield they have ever had in 2013 with Presley, Cutch and Marte.
