A quick note on the 2012 Annual

Published:

Pirates Prospects 2012 Annual The Pirates placed shortstop Gustavo Nunez on the 60-day disabled list this morning, making room for newly-acquired A.J. Burnett on the 40-man roster. With that roster move, the Pirates Prospects 2012 Annual was finalized and will soon be off to the publisher. I wanted to take a moment and thank all of you who have purchased the Annual or plan to do so in the future. I devoted a large portion of my fall and winter to putting this book together, and the fact that many of you will enjoy the end result makes that all worthwhile.

Special thanks to Tim for all of his hard work with the administrative aspects of the Annual, getting it published and distributed and making sure every detail was resolved. Thanks to Kevin Creagh for doing an excellent job on the NL Central section of the book, and to the rest of the Pirates Prospects contributors for providing very helpful feedback throughout the entire process.

Finally, thanks to the random people of the internet, who were always willing to lend a hand when I needed some help. In particular, thanks to Matt Brown, Craig Brown of Royals Authority, Timothy De Block of The Crawfish Boxes, Kurt Mensching and Allison Hagen of Bless You Boys, Tom Hagerty of Lakeland Local, Harry Pavlidis of Cubs f/x, Megan Shear of Section 331, Jeff Sullivan of Lookout Landing and Dan Szymborski of Baseball Think Factory. I greatly appreciate the assistance that each of you provided.

If anyone has any questions or comments about the book, feel free to send them my way on Twitter or leave them in the comments section of this post.
