Today is a short day. The big league camp has an off-day, and there's a short schedule at Pirate City. They're currently warming up and doing drills, and they'll play two short intrasquad games around 10:00.
Gerrit Cole will be pitching in one of the games, rotating with Clay Holmes. In the other game, Jake Burnette will be going up against Isaac Sanchez. I'm not sure what the lineups will be, although it looks like they'll only be playing two innings, so I'd guess everyone will hit once.
Tomorrow is the first real game in minor league camp.
I'll have a story up on Gift Ngoepe this afternoon.
For now, here's the sun coming up over Pirate City this morning.
