THX! One down, one to go. What does “some receptive swings early,” mean? Now THAT one is truly puzzling. 50 years of following baseball (having played two yrs overall), and I have NEVER heard THAT one. Even Harry “the Hat” Walker never brought that phrase up. lol

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh………..ROD’s glove. We were thinking Correia was following his OWN glove….which of course made NO sense and why we were puzzled. We never thought of the catcher.

I HATE when that happens. I think I’ll go follow some beer.

It means that Correia was following the glove. Wherever Barajas set it up, he was hitting it, not missing.
