Like I always say, I’d rather have a group of guys throwing 96 and hope I can teach them to pitch with control than trying to teach a bunch of control pitchers how to throw 96.  Baseball is a sport that’s so reliant on learned concepts and skills, that there’s only a matter of time before you’re flooded with legitimate prospect candidates if you’re drafting up players like they have.  It just takes that time to build first, and I think the Pirates’ organization is closing in on reaching that level.
