Can’t speak to his defense as catcher, but remain surprised there wasn’t a true competition between Fox and McKenry for backup, given the need for power at the ML level.
I though Evans was a nice pickup. But oy, that was a bad spring.

1. Your second basemen is your best SS and 3B prospect who hit about 20 HRs last year.
2. Your SS was a sparkplug and at times whiz defensively… in the majors last year.
3. Nick Evans is going to kill AAA pitching, this kid is way better than his ST numbers.
4. Your CF may be, one of the top prospects in all of baseball and at times (including by me) has been mentioned by some scouts in the same breath as Clemente. I’ll just say that I look forward to seeing him in that short RF of PNC, using that cannon on his shoulder to dare runners to take the extra base. From what I saw this spring, frankly I’m shocked he’ll be at AAA. He has matured into a real talent, with really jaw-dropping skills. Watch out Tabby, you may be fighting Presley for time in LF real soon.
Awesome team I think, and thank goodness for P2 so I can keep up with all the success their going to have this year.
