This weekend I will be heading down to Durham to cover the four game series between the Indianapolis Indians and the Durham Bulls.
The thought occurred to me that, despite this site being in its fourth year of existence, I've never covered the Indianapolis Indians live. In 2009 I only covered the Lynchburg Hillcats, not that there was much to cover in Indianapolis at the time. In 2010 I expanded to West Virginia, Altoona, and State College, but my Indianapolis coverage was limited to watching the games on MiLB.tv. Last year Nancy Zinni joined the site, providing live game coverage from Indianapolis.
Add in the fact that it's a nine hour drive to Indianapolis, and I usually see the players at Triple-A as they're making their way through the system, and this weekend will be my first time seeing that team live.
