Awesome to see Cole have a strong debut. Taillon with 6 and Cole with 7 K’s in their debut really is nice to see.

I was at the game and here are a couple of observations: The doubles were all very well hit and to the deepest part of the park. In general, he was throwing what looked like a mix of two seam and 4 seam fastballs mixing in some off-speed stuff. At times he was dominant, particularly as in the 3rd & 4th innings. Drew Maggi had a very good night at the plate 3 for 4 and in the field, although he dove for a ball to his right that was the RBI single against Cole.

Tim – Any insight on pitch selection? Just curious as to what his mix was. Also, is he still having some inconsistencies with location, specifically getting the ball low in the zone?
