All pitchers are volatile, but Bumgarner for SF has a track record in the minors and now majors.  There was less variability there and it’s a good deal.

The only player that should be extended on this team is Neil Walker, but I’ve said my piece on that issue.

The other guys they can do without or go year by year arb wise.(karstens and morton)
