I see Tabata as a 4th outfielder at best. I mean seriously, he is a corner outfielder with no power. He is a good player that has a role but it will not be an everyday player in the long run. Presley is a much better lead off guy, and when Starling Marte comes up are you going to sit Presley or Tabata who seems to have forgotten how to drive the ball. Just ask yourself this question, if Alvarez heats up and hits for this kind if power all year long and the Bucs are in the race com July like they were last year, what is the one spot that you would upgrade the offense. Its going to be Tabata's spot. (I am also passing over Barajas/McKenry because they seem to be doing such a great job with the Pitchers) That corner has to be able to produce more extra base hits and help carry the offense.

I'd love to see these guys both reach their potential. It would definitely help our lineup big time.
