Have you checked out Addison Russell (3B,SS Pace, HS)? He’s athletic enough to play SS for a number of years. He’s got a live bat and plenty of power. He’s moving up on a lot of teams’ boards.

My list of possibles with comments:

Roache — a whiff machine.
Stroman — Pirates like their pitchers tall.
Appel — please, God, no
Giolito — a steal
Almora — an overdraft
Fried & Smoral — they’d be iffy but both have potential too
Correa — my wish pick
Marrero — please, God, no
Cecchini — may be a viable alternative to Correa
McCullers — supposedly has a bad attitude and a labored delivery
Wacha — Littlefield would have taken Wacha even if Giolito, Correa, Buxton and Ted Williams were on the board

and now he’s hurt AGAIN…..if Correa falls to #8, there’s no reason why Huntington won’t take him because he’s apparently climbing now and before he was around 12 to 15 best guy overall, now he’s top 10. from what I have seen, the Top 10 as it stands right now in no particular order is Appel, Buxton, Zunino, Zimmer, Giolito, Correa, Gausman, Almora, Marrero, McCullers

Marcus Stroman should be on here, especially over Roche. Roche doesn’t belong in the top 10.

Even with his struggles and injuries last year, Rendon was considered a consensus top 5 pick. You never know for sure.

I don’t want a prep player here that will take 5 years to develop. I would like to see them go after a college level position player that can make the jump to majors quickly.
